Vodafone Group Plc announced a robust overall organic revenue growth of 4.7 percent, reaching €9.38 billion ($10.1 billion) for the period ending in December, surpassing the 4.3 percent average estimate projected by analysts in a Bloomberg survey. The UK-based telecommunications company noted an upswing in the third fiscal quarter across both Europe and Africa.
Vodafone Group’s CEO highlighted the sustained momentum in service revenue during the third quarter, with a particular emphasis on the acceleration of Vodafone Business. Notably, Cloud and Internet of Things services experienced a growth rate exceeding 20 percent.
As part of the company’s turnaround strategy under CEO Margherita Della Vella, Vodafone aims to divest assets in several challenging European markets. Despite rejecting Iliad’s offer, the telecommunications giant is strategically aligning itself to enhance its market position.
