Vivo, the Chinese smartphone company, commenced smartphone manufacturing operations on Sunday at its factory located in the 10th Ramadan City in Egypt.
The company is now introducing the locally produced smartphones to the Egyptian market, further expanding its presence in the country.
Vivo is working on expanding its business in order to meet domestic and export demands, according to a statement.
Vivo is now the fourth smartphone brand to start manufacturing locally in Egypt, following Nokia, Samsung, and Infinix.
