The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is currently directing more than $500 million towards projects aimed at bolstering Egyptian economic growth, according to Laura Gonzalez, the Director of Economic Growth at USAID. She emphasized USAID’s unwavering commitment to collaborating with the Egyptian people, recognizing them as the economic engine needed for companies operating in Egypt.
USAID is dedicated to supporting Egypt’s ambitious objective of increasing its annual exports to $100 billion. Additionally, the agency is keen on providing crucial technical assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), further contributing to Egypt’s economic development.
