Presidents of Egypt and Turkey Hold Phone Talks on Israeli Attacks and Humanitarian Aid Efforts

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi engaged in a telephone conversation with his Turkish counterpart, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, to discuss the ongoing Israeli attacks on Palestinian territory and collaborative efforts to provide humanitarian aid to Gaza.

In a statement on Wednesday, Ahmed Fahmy, the official spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency, conveyed that President Erdoğan emphasized the significance of continued joint efforts by Islamic nations to establish a sustainable ceasefire in the region.
