Egypt’s 100 Days of Healthy Lives Initiative Delivers Over 57 Million Medical Services

Ministry of Health Highlights Broad Range of Services Across Governorates Since June 25

The Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population disclosed on Monday that the 100 Days of Healthy Lives Initiative has successfully provided 57,539,710 medical services across all governorates since its launch on June 25.

Comprehensive Health Services

As outlined by the Ministry of Health, the initiative encompasses a spectrum of services, including family planning, mental health support, emergency care, and psychological therapy. Additionally, the initiative addresses drug addiction treatment for both adults and teenagers, rehabilitation, psychological aid, and the handling of complaints and inquiries, according to a statement released by the Ministry of Health.

Educational Outreach and Awareness

The campaign has actively engaged with the community, reaching approximately 8.19 million citizens through community teams deployed in public spaces, clubs, and malls. Its overarching goal is to enhance awareness among citizens and guide them to utilize the public health services offered. This is achieved through educational seminars, activities, and informational sessions conducted as part of the initiative.

Encouraging Citizen Participation

The Ministry of Health encourages all citizens to visit the campaign’s service centers and mobile clinics to avail themselves of the diverse range of services offered. Furthermore, citizens have the option to request home visits for the elderly and immobile individuals by contacting the hotline at 15335. The 100 Days of Healthy Lives Initiative stands as a comprehensive public health initiative, reflecting the commitment of the Egyptian government to ensuring the well-being and health of its citizens.
