The Egyptian Mercantile Exchange (EMX) informed Amwal Al Ghad English on Thursday that Egypt’s Prime Minister has appointed Hossam Ahmed Al-Jarahi as the deputy chairman of the board of directors for the General Authority For Supply and Commodities (GASC).
Al-Jarahi has been serving as the CEO and managing director of the exchange since December 1, 2023, offering extensive expertise in banking and financial markets.
The selection process for the new CEO and managing director of the EMX will be carried out during the inaugural meeting of the newly formed board of directors.
