The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) concluded Monday’s trading session on a positive note, with key indices registering gains.
The main index, EGX 30, demonstrated resilience by rising 0.90 percent, closing at 18,910.99 points and gaining 184.98 points during the day. It reached a peak value of 18,945.66 and touched a low of 18,726.01.
Meanwhile, the EGX 70 index also exhibited a positive trend, advancing by 0.49 percent and adding 18.54 points to reach a final value of 3,830.90. It reached its highest point of the day at 3,845.54, while the lowest point stood at 3,812.16.
The EGX 30 Capped index outperformed, posting a 1.10 percent increase and gaining 267.22 points. It concluded the trading session with a value of 22,820.55, after reaching a high of 22,854.66 and a low of 22,553.33.
