Egypt anticipates a surge in trade volume with BRICS nations, projecting it to reach $40 billion, with Egyptian exports accounting for $7.6 billion of this total, according to Yehia Al-Wathiq Bellah, Chairman of the Egyptian Commercial Service (ESC).
Al-Wathiq Bellah highlights that achieving this vision will hinge on the Egyptian government’s adept participation in BRICS meetings. To facilitate this, ESC’s entities have established a dedicated unit focused on BRICS countries.
Moreover, Egypt’s accession to the BRICS bloc is poised to provide a boost to the tourism sector, attracting a larger number of tourists, particularly from Russia, as per Al-Wathiq Bellah’s remarks.
These developments underscore Egypt’s commitment to fostering robust economic ties with BRICS nations, opening up opportunities for enhanced trade, investment, and tourism cooperation in the future.
