Egypt Condemns Terrorist Attack on Turkish Aerospace Company

CAIRO, 24 October 2024 — Egypt has issued a strong condemnation of the recent suicide attack on the Aerospace Industries Company (TUSAS) in Ankara, Turkey, which resulted in multiple casualties.

In a statement released by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt expressed its unwavering opposition to terrorist acts that jeopardize the security and stability of Turkey. The country extended its heartfelt condolences to the Turkish government and its people, particularly to the families of the victims, and wished a swift recovery for those injured in the attack.

The assault, described as a “terrorist attack,” left at least four people dead and 14 others injured at TUSAS’s headquarters located on the outskirts of Ankara. Egypt reiterated its solidarity with Turkey during these challenging times.
