Egypt and Cyprus have concluded their joint special forces exercise, “Ptolemy 2025,” marking a significant step in strengthening bilateral military cooperation and regional security coordination.
Held over several days in Cyprus, the exercise brought together elite units from both nations’ armed forces. The training encompassed theoretical lectures aimed at exchanging combat experiences, achieving integration and cohesion, unifying operational concepts, and honing skills among the participating forces. Practical training activities highlighted the field skills of the Egyptian and Cypriot Special Forces, enabling them to carry out all assigned tasks with efficiency and competence. Additionally, a number of standard and non-standard shooting exercises were conducted, reflecting the professional level of the participating forces from both sides.
