Edita Food Industries Plans to Invest EGP 800 Million in 2023, Considers Expansion of Fancy Foods’ Capital

Cairo, Egypt – Edita Food Industries, a leading Egyptian food company, unveiled its ambitious investment plans for 2023, targeting a total investment of EGP 800 million ($25,962,292). The company also expressed its willingness to augment Fancy Foods’ capital by EGP 400 million.

This announcement follows Edita’s recent declaration of a 127 percent increase in investments for the current year, underscoring its commitment to robust growth and expansion.

During the first quarter of the current year, the company witnessed a remarkable surge in profits, recording a staggering 146 percent increase. Profits soared to EGP 399.9 million, a substantial rise from EGP 162.4 million reported during the same quarter of the previous year.
