Dana Gas Plans $43 Million Investment for Intensive Drilling Program in Egypt

Dana Gas, a UAE-based company, is set to invest approximately $43 million in implementing an intensive drilling program in Egypt in 2024, as announced by Egypt’s Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources on Wednesday.

The program aims to increase Dana Gas’ production in Egypt by around 30 million cubic feet of natural gas per day while addressing the natural attrition of wells, according to CEO Richard Hall. Hall shared these plans during a meeting with Egypt’s Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Tarek El Molla, where discussions centered on strengthening bilateral relations.
