On Thursday, Mohamed al-Khosht, President of Cairo University, announced that the university’s Medical School boasts 25 affiliated hospitals equipped with state-of-the-art devices. This announcement underscores the institution’s commitment to advancing medical education and healthcare services.
Cairo University has also emerged as the top institution among 20 Egyptian universities listed in the 2024 Center for World University Rankings (CWUR). This prestigious ranking places Cairo University at the 513th spot globally, highlighting its historic position as Egypt’s leading university.
Ain Shams University, known for its scientific excellence, follows closely at the 769th position. Mansoura University ranks third among Egyptian universities, holding the 873rd spot worldwide. Alexandria University also features prominently, securing the 914th position in the global rankings.
Public universities dominate the list of Egyptian institutions in the CWUR rankings. The following universities have notable positions:
