As of June 2023, Asia-Pacific carriers have claimed the lead with an astounding 128.1 percent year-to-year surge in passenger traffic, underscoring the region’s dynamic aviation landscape.
While Africa did experience a slight dip of 5.1 percent in June, the continent’s overall performance highlights its capacity for growth and adaptability. In comparison, Europe continues to assert dominance over the global passenger share, maintaining a resilient 30.8 percent, closely followed by North America at 28.8 percent.
