CAA agent Maha Dakhil faced demotion from the talent agency for expressing her views on genocide. Dakhil stated, “What’s more heartbreaking than witnessing genocide? Witnessing the denial that genocide is happening.” Actor Tom Cruise showed support for Dakhil after she became the target of criticism.
