Alexandria, Egypt – In a significant boost to Egypt’s maritime industry, Columbia Group, a global leader in integrated maritime services, and its long-standing partner, Pan Marine Shipping Services, have announced a new joint venture, Columbia Pan Marine Ship Management Egypt. The partnership, which was officially formalized this week, aims to enhance Egypt’s role as a key maritime hub and a center for developing maritime talent.
The new entity will serve as Columbia Group’s official presence in Egypt, offering a full suite of services, including crew management, technical services, and energy solutions. This strategic move follows a successful active collaboration between the two companies that began in 2023.

It is also designed to leverage local expertise to build sustainable careers for Egyptian maritime professionals.

The partnership has already laid the groundwork for future growth by introducing specialized training programs for Egyptian seafarers, ensuring compliance with international standards. It has also launched targeted recruitment campaigns to attract top talent and implemented training modules focused on environmental compliance and the use of alternative fuels.
