El-Sisi, Central Bank Governor Confer on Egypt’s Economic Stability

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi has met with the Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), in a high-level discussion aimed at strengthening the country’s economic resilience. The meeting, held in Cairo, centered on monetary policies, inflation control, and strategies to stabilize the Egyptian pound amid global financial pressures.

According to presidential sources, the talks also reviewed measures to boost foreign currency reserves, attract investment, and safeguard social protection programs for citizens. President El-Sisi emphasized the importance of aligning fiscal and monetary policies to sustain growth while ensuring that reforms continue to protect Egypt’s most vulnerable groups.

The Central Bank Governor reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to maintaining financial stability, highlighting ongoing efforts to enhance the banking sector’s performance and support Egypt’s Vision 2030 economic goals.

This meeting underscores the government’s priority in confronting economic challenges with coordinated strategies between fiscal authorities and monetary regulators.
