Egypt Digital Platform Expands to 182 E-Services, Surpasses 9 Million Users

CAIRO – March 27, 2025 – The Egypt Digital Platform continues to advance the country’s digital transformation, now offering 182 government services online and exceeding 9 million registered users, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.

As part of its ongoing expansion, the Ministry plans to introduce additional services in the near future, with some transactions set to become exclusively digital. This initiative aims to encourage citizens to embrace online services, reducing reliance on traditional paper-based processes.

The platform, launched as part of Egypt’s broader digital transformation strategy, provides services across various sectors, including documentation, supplies, traffic, courts, social insurance, and commercial registry. By streamlining procedures, the government seeks to enhance efficiency, save time for citizens, and reduce congestion at physical service centers.

With the growing number of users, the government is investing in digital infrastructure improvements and expanding service availability to accommodate the increasing demand for online government transactions.
